Check out this cool interview with Cobra Commander by Leonard Maltin.
Bikers stand proud! I am calling for a boycott of State Farm Insurance by all of us who are trying to slow our driving habits and ride our bikes more often. The advertisement they are currently running has a man complaining that due to gas prices he has had to switch from driving to riding his bike and how embarrasing that is. Of course, State Farm claims at the end of the advert that by purchasing your car insurance through them you will save hundreds and will be able to spend those hundreds on gas afterall. Don’t worry about the fact that their is a war for oil going on, or that the planet is warming at an alarming rate. Just try to find some cheap insurance and keep driving your car, you fat ass. (Oh yeah, not to mention the obesity problem this country faces.) So those of us who ride bicycles need to band together, spread the word and do our best to boycott those creeps. Let’s all try to use our bikes more often, now that the weather is getting nicer you have less of an excuse. For more info on bikes and bike culture check out Time’s Up. So, are ya with me?
So it’s the results time again and it is so sad to see people go at this point, it’s like saying good-bye to a friend (albeit a new friend that you hardly know). So Chikezie got voted off and I was sad to see him go, he has a lovely voice and I’m sure he will do alright for himself in this biz. I was shocked to see Syesha in the bottom three. As I said in my post yesterday, her performance was amazing and it was like having her old self back. But, atleast she’ll be around to prove herself once again. And Once again, the Q & A portion of the show was horrendous. Poeple get with it, ask an interesting question, please! Kimberly Locke’s performance was outstanding, but did anyone else notice the part in the song where it seemed like it was going to end (and it should have ended) but instead she went back through the chorus one more time. Yick, that just annoyed me. Continue reading

Go ahead and watch Mike Mignolia’s classic Steam punk comic from Dark Horse come to life. Then go to my other website The Red Fox Report for my upcoming look at the steam punk sub-genre.
This week on American Idol pretty much everyone had a powerhouse performance. All of the contestants went for the big songs and were using their big voices! It was an exciting show. It was fun to see everyones’ family photos and hear about when they were little. I am a sucker for kid pictures, being a photographer I always love to see people’s family photos. I mostly missed the performance by Ramiele, but I caught that she was pitchy and that the song choice was kind of weak. Jason picked a song where he could use his guitar skills. I guess it was sloppy (per Simon), but I didn’t notice. The middle chorus was really weak, he was basically singing at the volume of the choir and I was really hoping he would bust it out. In the end he brought his bigger voice out and it really redeemed the performance for me. So I hope to see him around next week. Continue reading
The first Images of The Gi Joe
movie are starting to surface, check out the new pics of snake eyes being released by Universal studios. First off I’m really excited about this movie. Hell I’m almost excited as I was when I heard about Transformers. This scares me because It’s being handled by those incompetent bastard lame asses that made the Transformers movie. I’m still recovering over the long deep dark depression that one caused. For christ sakes what the hell kinda craptastic suckfest was that? I still have high hopes for the G.I. Joe movie just because I think the pictures of snakeyes look so cool. They seem to be sticking more to the traditional character design. I hope they do the same with other iconic G.I. joe characters such as cobra commander and Destro. I can’t wait to see what storm shadow will look like. I like some of the improvements costume designers have made in hollywood lately, they seem to look more realistic and fantastic at once. Snake Eyes will be played by Ray Park, the guy that played Darth Maul in Star Wars. I personally couldn’t think of anyone more qualified to play a ninja than a Jedi (or whatever Darth Maul is..sith?). The RED FOX REPORT !
